TAPCCO stands for TESFA ADDIS PARENTS CHILDHOOD CANCER ORGANIZATION and is located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. TAPCCO has a skill building program for parents staying in the accommodation. This gives opportunity to the parents to learn new skills that they can use back home as well as earn income from the sales of the products.It arranges handicraft training for families of infant and child cancer patients in order to help them establish a stable financial income and to cope with the psychological difficulties of their stay. hettler.tüllmann commissioned TAPCCO to create colorful braided mats made from strips of old clothing and textiles. The participants were free to choose their own colorways.
